Often, tagging applications require read range that would be hard to achieve with passive tags. Applications where the tag is to be mounted in obscure positions. Or when passive tags just won’t work. It is a good time to try using active tags.
Our active tags comes in 2 form factors. One that is surface mounted and another that can be carried in the form of a clamshell card. Both operating at 2.45GHz with an unobstructed read range of 200m. Our product comes with Ultra Low Power NRF24L01P transceiver, giving it a long battery life that can last up to 5 years on Read-Only mode.
We also provide option to incorporate RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indication) function. This allow users to determine tag distance from the reader, which can be further applied to triangulation of tag position in the application space.
